When I think of women, I think of strength, caregiver, blessing, amazing and so many more incredible words to describe them. A woman is a gift from God and can never be replaced. Today as we celebrate women across the world let’s discuss five ways we can join in the celebration.
Acknowledge a woman
Be intentional today and onwards to see a woman, not just the outward appearance but look deeply into the things she does. Take the time to let her know that you see what she is doing and encourage her to continue.
Compliment a woman
Say something that will uplift a woman. Whether it be her hair, her clothes, her curves or her strides. Let her know she has a good thing going on.
Treat a woman
You can help a random woman today by asking how you may be of service. Whether it’s helping her bring her groceries, fixing a broken pipe in her yard, taking her to a nice place to eat or simply buying a nice gift. Anything works once it’s coming from the heart a real woman will appreciate it.
Empower a woman
Join in learning how to make a woman feel more confident to get things done. Don’t let them feel as if without you they won’t make it or they can’t do it all by themselves. Ladies this is for you too, learn to give other women a time to shine and when she does, clap for her too.
Remind them that they are Queens. If you see a woman acting out of character, find a nice way to let her know. Let her know what you expect from her as long as it’s not trying to change who she is.
Advocate for women
Let your voices be heard as proof that you are in support of women's progression and advancement in society. No matter what happens women should not be harmed, be threatened or feel threatened. Let others know that you don’t support violence against women and join the fight whether in the actions you take or the choices you make considering a woman.
When you reflect on a woman you realize what a wonderful being God has made. Her smile can change your day and her presence can change your mood. You can be intimidated by her confidence or be encouraged by it. A woman is more than just a mother to your children or a maid in your house. She is valued more than diamonds and rubies. She is a great treasure and she should be treated as such. Let’s break the bias and treat women fair and just and never cheat them out of what they deserve.
